Can I use this battery?

I've read many of the threads on house batteries and which are the best replacements. On remaining question that I have is can I "upgrade" or substitute a different Group Size than what I have currently?

The previous owner installed a 27DC115 Crown Deep Cycle:
MCA - 845
20 AH Rate - 115
RC Minutes - 195

Can I replace with a different group from SamsClub
Duracell AGM Group 31
MCA - 800
20 AH Rate - 105
RC Minutes - 200

It seems like a lesser battery but wanted to get thoughts since this is an AGM battery vs. the non-AGM battery. Would I be losing power with a lesser MCA and lesser 20 AH Rate?

The Duracell battery is larger physically but has less power than the battery you have now. If you want to replace the battery you have, you should look for a true deep cycle battery not a combination starting/deep cycle. The MCA ( marine cranking amps) rating is not important for a house battery and some deep cycle batteries will not even have this rating.

I know in our RV, we couldn't fit a 31 series battery. We had to stay with the 27 series. The 31 will fit into the bottom, it is too high to fit under the wiring on the frame rail.
