Battery boost switches are typically momentary rocker and not toggle on/off. I think his battery boost (emergency start) switch is the rocker switch (with bat symbol) next to the toggle switch. It's an illuminated toggle and may work in conjunction with the rocker switch, could also be something like mirror heat switch being as the original owner didn't know. Interesting.

I believe that was the passenger side NAG switch. It activated the passenger ejection seat when the nagging got to be too much for the driver. It only came on the James Bond edition Georgetowns.

Seriously, I tried to do a search in the Georgetown forums for maybe a similar question.

I did find this one where Fred says the toggle switch is a mirror defroster for his 05 model in this thread, so Bubbles may be the winner of this round of jeopardy:

Dashboard Battery Boost Switch

If you do confirm that's what it is, let us know please.

If the engine battery is dead you flip the switch to use coach batteries to start the engine if required

Any chance it is the switch to turn on the mirror heaters?

I think they mean the red toggle switch to the left of the battery boost switch.

Iggy I'm pretty sure he's talking about the red switch BESIDE the battery boost switch. That's why the discussion is still on-going. OP said it is a toggle switch, whereas the boost switch would be momentary.

I have the same thing, only it is mounted on the side of the drivers seat near the floor.

Any chance that would work in the upcoming election!

We have tried flipping it in the on or off position, and haven't noticed a difference in the operation of anything. We are thinking it's a battery charger switch for the storage batteries? The previous owner had no idea what the switch was for. Can you help solve our mystery?Attachment 106735
Please read the initial thread question above and you tell me?
