Can you solve the mystery

Hi, everyone! We have a mystery for you to solve! We own a 2006 Georgetown and there is a red toggle switch on our instrument panel to the left of the steering wheel. It is lit up when the engine is running and we can't figure out what the switch does. We have tried flipping it in the on or off position, and haven't noticed a difference in the operation of anything. We are thinking it's a battery charger switch for the storage batteries? The previous owner had no idea what the switch was for. Can you help solve our mystery?Click image for larger version

Nitrous! Ha-Ha, Just a guess, I too would think it is for the house batteries to charge off the alternator.

We just tried with the engine running with the switch in the up position then turning it off and turning the engine off. We also had a voltmeter to the batteries and it did not make a difference. The mystery continues…

Watch the neighbors garage while you flip the switch. seriously though, could it be some type of upfitter switch not hooked to anything?

Looks like a boster switch that uses the house batteries to start your engine.

Fog lighting? It is suspect being next to the battery switch though.

It is the emergency battery interconnect if the engine battery was low or failed. When pushed it interconnects both batteries together so you can start your Georgetown engine. Yes its called Battery Boost.

Here is what mine looks like on my 2012
