Cannot Find A Part...

Any one know of a supplier? As always the KISS rule should be the first step anyone takes....house battery charging problems...so I tore the battery box apart...tested the solenoid...etc. Turns out, it appears, the coach disconnect switch is the culprit! If I wiggle and probe the connections on the back the switch engages and the electricity flows. Switch has 8 connections on the back.....only marking on switch is Mexico 1041 8961K2811 or 8961K2611. The last 8 or 6 is difficult to make out. Anyway....have searched various supplier sites and cannot find a replacement switch. Has anyone had this particular switch go bad and needed to replace it? Thank you for information that may be out there. thomanddebie

You can replace the defective switch with any brand. They're readily available at Amazon, eBay, and many auto parts stores; a web search for "rv disconnect switch" should provide lots of options.

Hope this helps.

Maybe. 21 years at NAPA here. I would seek an electrical distributor. They are used to these. Then of course there is the Internet.

Thanks thomanddebie

I believe yours has an indicator light. Hence the extra terminals.

Trempert, Thank you for that info. This could be reason I can only find 6 terminal switches on line. Don't need the indicator light as it was ON in either position. Never did make any sence. Again, Thank you.

What does this switch control???
"8" could mean 8 lugs........
A sketch of wires and color code to each terminal might help.
Any terminals jumpered?
