Can't close door

In August i had the door latch replaced and everything worked fine.

We have been in Florida for just over two weeks, and can't seem to close the door despite slamming it with much more force than should be necessary.

I have moved the strike plates, but the issue seems to be the edge of the door striking the jamb.

The door hinges are riveted in place, so no adjustment there.

Anyone have a suggestion how we might impact the alignment of the door or other suggestions?

Was this caused by "Wind"? The door frame can Sometimes be brought back into shape using wood blocks! Youroo!!

Use a 1 foot or so long level on the jamb, is it level?

It is temporarily "almost" fixed....
Found the screws in the bottom hinge needed to be tightened... problem was that one of the screws was stripped out. There doesn't seem to be anything left in the door to screw into. Any suggestions for a long term solution?

You have supplied Conflicting Info in regard to the Fasteners on your door hinges! Now in regards to the stripped female threads in the Door, have "Rivet Nuts" or "Jack Nuts" installed, they are made for Thin applications! Youroo!!

We had the same problem with our XL 369. We had to hold the latch in the open position and then pull door closed. It was still hard but closed. The door became hard to close when sun light hit it directly and it expanded. We took it back to FR and they adjusted it.

clarification: The hinge is attached to the door with screws, the door jamb with rivets.

I'll try the suggested alternatives.

Solution

Rivets. That was the solution for replacing the screws holding the hinge. Seems to bring the door into alignment. Time will tell.

I have had that problem on our 351DS, we had the dealership grind the door jamb opening larger which helped significantly. But also, our screws stripped out from adjusting the jamb up and down. After a lot of complaining, the dealer replaced the screws with bolts. It still requires a firm push or a good slam if we are slightly off level.
