CB antenna and radio placement

Got our Georgetown 378TS home and getting it ready for our move from Arizona to Missouri. I am a General class ham radio operator and am wondering where to put a CB and dual band antenna on the outside and the radios on the inside. The A pillar with a "Firestick no ground plane mount" is what I am thinking on the upper part of the A pillar and run the coax inside the trim to go down under the dash. For the dual band antenna, I am thinking about getting a 1/16" thick piece of steel sheet painted white and held down by Dicor tape and sealant to use a magnetic mount dual band antenna to and then see if I can run the coax down the same point the TV antenna coax goes thru the roof and into the cabinets, then under the dash. Thinking about getting a "hump" radio mount off of eBay to mount them it on the engine access cover. I have been thinking about securing that to the carpet on the cover with velcro on the bottom of the mount (the hook side of the velcro) so it would attach itself to the carpet on the cover. Anyone do it different? I don't want to make any holes in the dash.

I can only talk about the CB antenna and radio.
The Firestick 4" with their side mount will work great drivers side upper section of the exterior. I would make sure that the tip doesn't extend above the regular Radio Antenna on the roof so it won't get hit.
I would also add a strong spring at the bottom of the antenna.
Mounting should be back further than the pillar and possible inside the cabinet drivers side above driver.
You will have to do some removing of the stirofoam in the wall so you can get the mount bolted on and the coax connected.
Then bring the coax down the left pillar.

I was going to mount my CB on the outside wall to the left of the drivers seat.

The big issue I had was that the coax for the Firestick would reflect better if the coax is stretched out and not coiled up.
I believe you have like 18-19 ft of coax and it can not be cut and shortened.

Here is a link from awhile back on another person wanting to install a CB in the 378TS.

Good luck.
