Center Console?

We would like to have a center console that fits between the lower dash on top of the engine cover. Seen other GTs that have them and was wondering if it's available for our 351DS.

My best advice is to find one after-market that will work for you through an auto parts store, Camping World, that sort of thing. We found one at a flea market of all places that works for us. You might ask FR about order the very one that they put on the XL's - may not fit perfectly but might with a little modification.

All I have is this plastic cup holder and small tray.
Is this what you were thinking?

If so I'm sure Forest River will sell you one... For $1,000,000
It's a thin molded plastic and it is held on by two screws at the bottom of the cup holders.

That is exactly what I was talking about. Not sure why they don't put them in the DS models. If IIRC, the salesman said it was an upgrade not to have one...something about quick seating or something.

All we have is cheap folding cup holders on the sides. It's a shame our dash is so plain. There is so much room for improvement. They could have installed a glove box, compartments, recess areas to hold stuff, etc.

I just needed a box to put all my junk. Cell phones, chargers, paper and pencil, garage door opener etc. there just isn't anyplace to store that kind of stuff with ready access from your seat. The cup holders they put in GT just aren't substantial enough.

I use a plastic tray/organizer that cost very little and it sits on the floor to the left of the seat. Works great

I have been looking for 2 years for an organizer for the left hand side of the driver seat, similar to the setup the 378's have. So far no luck. Anyone else look for one of these? I would like to have something to hold a cup and a place to store phone, sunglasses, etc.

Bought this at Pep Boys for $24.00 in beige. Put one screw in the middle of it to keep it in place on the carpet. Works great!

I've seen those and probably will go with something like that. I was hoping for something more OEM looking.

Me too, but after I looked non-stop for a month I gave up and bought this. It actually works really well and the beige one matches the motorhome really well........and it didn't cost me a fortune.

My wife uses a plastic toolbox to store her small items that she wants in the front. She keeps the toolbox against the firewall and uses it as a footrest, but a smaller box could fit in the space beside the seats and wall, or near the center console.

Found these today. Going to give them a try by mounting them to the left of drivers seat and right of passenger seat. Beats anything I have found so far...

Here are holders mounted. Used 1/4 x 1 lag bolts and painted bolts black to match...Looks like they are going to workout OK...
