Main thing I like about central vacs (in the home) is when mounted in the garage, there's no recirculating air in the house from the vac. IE: no dust being thrown around.
If I had the money and the appropriate space (ie: vented to outside) I'd install one in the trailer faster than you can say "central vac".
Even with the minimal carpet option, the power and suction to pull dog hair would be worth it.

I don't think that dust coming out of the DirtDevil is a problem. Had it under the bed for a few months now and there is no evidence of any dust circulating under there. I believe that the bags are hypo-alergentic (- 2 pts for spelling).
Even if you use a regular standup or canister vacuum in your house it's the same thing. The air exits the machine into the surronding atmosphere. No difference.

Here some pictures of the installation on our 378, there is an electric outlet near the DirtDevil and the RV garage did a very good job for the installation...

Unfortunately, if it exhausts into the living space, there is dust being recirculated and blown up. Unavoidable. But then again, I'm pretty fussy about dust.....

That's why when we build our houses I install our central vac in the garage....

Sorry, disagree. A HEPA filter doesn't allow allergens thru and I think that allergen particles are smaller than dust particles. I maybe wrong, but, I believe the filters for the little DirtDevil are HEPA.

You're missing the point.
Just the air circulation inside the space stirs up dust and when you're done it settles in that fine layer everybody dislikes.
That's why I like central vacs in the home, they exhaust somewhere outside the living space.
It would be the same deal in a trailer for me. If it was, say, in the basement of a fifth wheel it would be great!
