Change of scenery

Well all... we've decided to move on.... to a new home in Georgia! I'm REALLY looking forward to having sun and moderate warmth all year round! Thus, we'll be able to get more glamping days in! Our Georgetown is even helping us on the move bring down the pets and misc. stuff... not to mention towing down the 2nd car! Gotta love a multipurpose vehicle such as an RV! :-)

Do not miss out on Georgia State Parks. We are currently at General Coffee State Park as hosts. Love it!

Lostdog, we did our shakedown run there a few weeks ago and loved General Coffee State Park. We will certainly be back.

Thanks for the nugget!!! We usually stay at Stone Mountain. After looking through the General Coffee State website, I stumbled on this 50% off coupon! Gotta love it so I thought I'd share: SPECIAL - 2014 Summer Camping Promotion | Georgia State Parks

Nice!
If only we can get all the parks to go full hook ups....they would triple their reservation numbers...especially the north GA SP's...they have some of the best campgrounds and areas to explore

Kenosha eh. Well I grew up in Madison. Moved to Florida in 73. Seldom even see frost. Won't ever go back to snow and below zero! Enjoy your new home and climate. You will get a small taste of winter now and then, but very mild compared to home.

Yea... you'll be down on the coast by Savannah. We'll be about an hour north of ATL. We're waiting until my son graduates 8th grade in June and then packing up the RV to come down. I'm just REALLY looking forward to less aggressive winter months! As someone pointed out on the thread, we need to check out the GA State Parks.
