You should check with your local tire retailers.

A retailer (in Colorado) for a national chain told me they would not mount a tire that was over 6 yrs old.
This was for a 05 F250, happened in 2010.

Which brings up another problem. Your 07 MH probably has 06 tires.

Why is that a problem. I bought a 2011 378TS in August 2010 so of course it had 2010 tires. That's the way the RV industry works.

When/if cfsoistman needs to have his 05, 06 or 07 spare mounted on a rim he may not be able to get anyone to mount it, itíll be too old.

If I was selling new tires, I'd tell someone that we just can't mount those old tires. I think that's just BS. Lots of places sell and mount used tires. What about retreads the semi's use.

I understand the statement where they might not want to mount an older tire and I hope I never have to have it done. This tire is in an enclosed trunk, has only seen the light of day before it was placed in there and once when I took it out to clean up all the stuff left from when the coach was built.
