Apparently when the guys de- winterize the rig water was left in lines causing an algae issue. We de winterized in April and just took the 2016 364TS for the July 4th. Water smelled like rotten onions. The way I handled the situation was I took the filter out and then put some bleach in the clear filter holder. I tried connecting a cut off hose, attached a funnel and poured some beach but that didn’t work. Would the correct solution have been to treat it like you’re going to winterize the rig and suck it through with the water pump? I replaced the old filter once I ran the water forever and cleaned out the clear filter housing. We don’t use the water tank but how do you sanitize that, same way with water pump?

Pour the bleach into your city water hose, then hook up the hose.

Same here.

I took a plastic funnel and heated the funnel outlet so I could bend it enough so that it was easy to get the bleach in.

I use a turkey baster to get the chlorine in the tank without spilling it on the side of the RV.

I use a garden fertilizer injector. It fits to the hose and sucks the bleach in as the water flows into the tank.

I have a water filter from an old TT that I had. I took the filter out, added the bleach, and hooked it up like I did not have one on the MH. Take the filter out of the one that is attached to (came with) the MH before you sanitize. Hooked all up using the house hose and it worked..
