The water tank should have it's own drain aside from the low point drains.

X2 Low point drains drain the plumbing. Tank drain drains the tank.

Maybe it's empty? (The electric level lights are notoriously incorrect.) Can you physically see the tank? If so, you can usually see a water level in it.

The drain must be plugged. Can you get a wire or something into it to clean it out?

I can just not gonna do it now in the dark. I'll wait till morning. But it's odd that it drains if I turn the water pump on

Turn Valve off

I had this problem too. Where the low point drain is located is an access hole. From there you can see the check valve and the lines running into the coach and the fresh water tank. I simply closed that valve that would pump water from the tank to the coach. Works great. I just need to remember to open that back up if I want to use the pump and water from the tank instead of the city. The ultimate resolution is to replace the check valve. Hope this helps

I had the same problem with the tank not draining. A little shot of air up the drain hose got it running good and it drained completely. Must have been some construction debris that plugged the line.

I moved the rv got it more level and sloshed the tank a bit and it started draining. Checked the filter on water pump and the screen was full of plastic bits and shavings I guess from 2hen they plumbed the hoses to the tank
