Clarion VX401 Camera Question

What do I need to do to get my Clarion Rear view camera, 2014 GeoTown XL, to stay in the rear view mode when I turn on my turn signals? I find the side views worthless as the rear view mirrors are superior & I do not have to take my eyes off the road. Thanks, Ken Kaiser kjk757@gmail.com

Not an expert here but I personally don't think it's possible. Why? Because once one of our side cameras - the connection became loose. We received the no signal on the monitor. DH hooked it back up and we had the side picture when signaling. Just think the main unit is "wired" that way. Good luck.

The module that controlls the camera on/off has three inputs. My is located directly behind the radio. When each individule input is activated by a 12 volt signal then that piticular view shows on the monitor.
If you are comfortable with wireing then disconnect both turn signal wires going to it and splice in the reverse signal wire to each turn signal input. You can find the manual for the module on the internet. It may also be labeled on the module itself.
Easy project.
What I did was to add a momentary switch with 12 volts and connected it to the reverse input signal so I could see my tow while going down the highway.
