Clarion VX401 Stereo issues

I have a 14 378XL with the Clarion VX401 stereo unit that has the common problem of randomly switching from chosen mode (Nav, IPOD, etc) to digital tuner.

I have no plans to have repaired, but instead would like to upgrade to a more reliable unit that is also more user friendly.

Has anyone replaced the Clarion unit with a another type that was basically plug and play and if so, what type?

I know there has been lots of discussion on these Clarion radios over on the Jayco Owners Boards. We had one on our Greyhawk and other than the camera it was useless.

I know you weren't looking to get it fixed, but after I had mine repaired, it's been great! Check out my post here: Clarion VX401 Issues
