Question... We are parked at campsite, trying to watch a DVD thru the clarion headunit, it will not let me, thinks we are driving down the road! I've cycled the on and off, removed key, park brake is set, level jacks are down - so I don't want to cycle the park brake. But I can't figure out how to make this thing recognize we are parked!! I have watched DVDs before, first time for this concern.... Any thoughts?

Some wire came loose or something changed letting the unit think you are in motion. You can get something like this and bypass is permanently: Clarion Automatic Parking Brake Bypass DVD Hack VX401 VZ401 VX 401 VZ 401 | eBay

Ours does the same thing plus some time I can't get the gps to work. The accept button doesn't seem to work.

Well 2 things, I swapped out the tv last week and plugged the video cable into the wrong port on back of tv, that's fixed! I also cut the grass green wire that goes to park brake pedal and grounded it, now the monitor works like I want it to work! ( wether the unit is moving or not! )
