My wife got me one of these "as seen on
TV" windshield cleaners.
I thought how cheezy can you get but it works wonderfully. I can reach the bottom inside corners of my Truck. I gave one to my son for his Corvette. His has so much slope he couldn't reach without it.
It comes with 2 micro fiber covers but I just drape a terry cloth wipe over it or even use paper towels over it. I really made cleaning the inside of our windshields much easier.
Available lots of places. Here's one of the cheapest - https://www.walmart.com/ip/Windshiel...4aAjoPEALw_wcB

Cleaning inside windshield

One tip is to do your windshield frequently and keep the pad clean.
My late wife was a smoker and while she didn't smoke much, or often, it still took it's toll on the windshield. I can only imagine what cooking inside a coach might leave on a windshield

Cleaning the inside often, and with a clean cloth, is the trick. I had thought about using a floor cleaning attachment, with clean clothes.

Very true, that film builds quickly and can be pretty stubborn to clean, even with non-smokers. I've also noticed that dirty windshield is much more susceptible to fogging up than clean glass.
It's also a good idea after cleaning to check the glass when the sun sets. What looks clean in bright daylight can be a streaky mess when hit with oncoming headlights.

I use Sky Way window cleaner available at Walmart and Canadian Tire. It's the best window cleaner. First time you use it you should clean the windows twice to get all the residue off. We use it for auto show vehicles.
Also, when using the extended window cleaner, when the pad gets wet, put a micro cloth over the pad to wipe the window last time.

good tips
Great advice about the windshield reach. Also, DavidBo, love the word schmutz. Needs to be in Webster's.

Chris fix has a YouTube channel in which he demonstrates an effective method using Mr clean white pads that are in most grocery stores along with THREE perfectly clean micro cloths and other items. It works. Look it up.

Update: I received the Invisible Glass unit as a Christmas gift but only because I went to AutoZone, bought it, wrapped it and opened it. Works great. I even cleaned the inside windows in the house this morning! Thanks rsdata for the info.
JohnD: I used my 8 year old granddaughter but now she's 14 (going on 21) and no longer fits on the dashboard!
I took her (then 8 years old) to an open house at the dealership, she found the Georgetown, called Grandma from the dealership, telling her all about the G-town, next day Grandma wanted to go look at it and ended up putting a deposit down! Granddaughter also learned how to set it up and tear it down. Granddaughter gets an extra Christmas gift each year!

Yes. My mistake. You are correct. It is Sprayway Window Cleaner. I've used this for over 4 years so I should have got it correct.
This cleaner has no ammonia. From my personal experience, it is also safe on aftermarket window tint as well as I have used it to clean upholstery with great results.
