With the old Class A I use to take a micro fiber towel wrapped it around the head of my outside windshield squeegee and used that to clean the inside window without putting weight on the dash.

The micro fibre on the end of the longer pole trick works great, but....

Use two different micro fibre cloths.....the first one good and damp.
Use another dry one to finish off the job.

No need for fancy cleaners.....clean water and maybe a touch of vinegar!

Google "Invisible Glass Reach and Clean Tool". I use that and a 50/50 mix of distilled water and alcohol.

Your windshield will be Everclear!
