It was so hot the last time we were there, I asked DW if she wanted to recover inside while I scouted the trailers outside. It was so hot, she said, "You bet!". I could have bought anything I wanted while she cooled off and she wouldn't have minded a bit.....But I was good and got her opinion first!
Was basically just looking for something to do, more than anything else. While Pittsburgh and Harrisburg are both about the same drive, I'd be more inclined to be out with the Sunseeker in September than I would be in January - since it's in storage right now.

Love Amazon too. Good prices, they carry everything in exactly the color and size you want, along with every possible option available. Reviews and two days delivery. Local dealer could never stock and properly display all that Amazon has.

Haven't been to the Columbus show in a very long time, but I remember it as being more about boats than travel trailers or motor homes. The Hershey show in September was an eight hour drive (each way) but was worth the drive. Great selection of units there from the tiniest trailers to the largest Class A's on the planet. Add to that the seminars about safety, generators, towing systems, etc made it a worthwhile experience. It was at that show that we decided that the Sunseeker 3010DS was best for us. No regrets!!

If you are truly going to the Columbus RV show or any other show with the intent of comparing travel trailer models you are interested in purchasing it is probably worth it. There was a ton of TT's there so you had good chance of seeing what you want and I am sure you can get quite a good deal.

We were more interested in looking at other class A's to see the amenities and the DW was looking at interiors for decorating ideas. Me, I want the gadgets and accessories of which there were none.

All in all we will go next year. We ran into several friends so it was worth it from that aspect.

Despite living in the Cincinnati area, I've never been to the Columbus show. The Cincinnati-Dayton show is coming up the first weekend in February and I've made it a point to attend it the last 7 or 8 years. Pretty fair assortment of TT, 5th, Class A, and Class C.

There are two Atlanta RV shows' one this weekend, and one next. Are they usually any good? The wife and I are looking to get into our first class A and upgrade from a travel trailer.
