Exclamation Concerns about Georgetown 360F

I am looking at a Georgetown 360F, 2011 model and there is absolutely no information by this model number on FR website, plus there are no means to contact FR. All this worries me, should I be looking elsewhere, what are your experiences, if any, with the 360? I appreciate your comments in advance.

I think it's the same as the 360DS which is on the website. If you Google "Georgetown 360F" you'll get some hits and in the listings, the "F" is also referred to as "DS". I have no explanation as to why!

BTW, it looks like a very nice coach! We just purchased a 280DS.

Thanks karenS144, that info helps, it would be nice if FR were a little more help with their product. Thanks again for response.

Our Georgetown was advertized on the dealer's site as a DSF. I looked and looked for what the "F" meant and could not find anything anywhere. I finally asked the salesman who didn't know either but found out that it was an "internal" code. I assume it means "FANTASTIC!" and if it doesn't, I don't want to know.

We really like our coach and it's features. It isn't the most luxurious nor the most expensive but it is very functional and roomy.

I had similar problems with our TT - our floorplan exists no place I can find. A 2011 trailer with a custom floorplan? I guess it's possible. But the model designation on everything shows a different one - this seems to be either new or old or some experiment maybe?

Makes me wonder what other choices exist.

We purchased a new 360F...same as the DS but there are minor changes made in construction (supposidly improvements) and they designate it with a different letter...that is all it is..we have not used our new 360 yet but are looking forward to it and It has to be better than the junk we got from Winnibego which we were lucky to unload....no doubt I will have more to report after the season starts in this part of the world.

COPSUNO your Georgetown should be a 36 ft dual slide. Enjoy your new coach.

Actually the 360 is the model designation. The length is 37' 11". I call mine a 38'. Sounds better, huh?

May I ask, did your 280DS come with drawers under the dinette, the one we just purchased after trading in our class C Sunseeker did.....we are going to have it modified with drawers to turn into a pantry.

Ours does not have drawers under the dinette. We have storage under both benches but we have to lift the seats to access it.

We have ours for sale because we got the NMV (New Motorhome Virus) at an RV show. If it doesn't sell that's fine because we still really like the 280DS.

We have had the virus all this year....we bought a 2014 Lance camper this time last year....in December we bought a 2014 Sunseeker 2650s class C which seemed to be exactly what we wanted minus a pantry (s) but after quite a few outings, we found that we were loosing almost 6 feet of living space not being able to use the cab so just this last Sunday we went down and chose a 280DS over the Thor Ace and the FR3....having to stay under 30 feet exactly to fit in our driveway. We will have our pantry under the dinette since this model does not come with one and as you said...it does not have all the bells and whistles but it is roomy and functional!

WDK I'm interested in your report that you missed using the space in the cab. We have a Georgetown now and have been thinking that going to a class C might offer more room with a bed over the driving area.

In the class C, while you do have the cab over bunk if you need it, you spend a lot of time reaching through your drawn curtains....keep in mind we have to stay under 30 feet in that size Class C you will either get a couch with a floor table in front or a dinette....in a class A that size you get the couch which doubles as pull out sofa, the dinette and the cab seats that spin around as a living room space and two big slide outs.

Georgetown 360F

It could be DS=Dual Slide. I thought all the DS models indicated the extra bathroom amid-ship. Mine is a 2011 360F.

Okay... maybe that mystery is solved. DS just might mean Dual Slide! I think I'll go with that. LOL!

Our 1 bath is between the kitchen & bedroom.

I have a 2012 DS 360. And it does refer to a dual slide. But they also tack on different letters such as XL when they added the residential frig and floor tile. The 360 is one of the few or maybe only model to have the second bath. Surprised they didn't use "DC" for dual crapper, haha. We love our coach. No kids so we wanted a king bed and the second bath, which is mine. The resident queen gets the big bath!
