Cracked windshield.

Have a 2004 37 ft XL. Traveling back from Lake Havasu city
Noticed a cracked windshield upper right corner. Might have been a impact crack but didn't see anything hit it. When we were retracing hyd levelers heard pop. Not sure if that is what caused it. Anyone heard if the torque could cause a windshield to crack.?

So after 11 years with the Georgetown and you think you cracked your windshield because of the levelers? Weird I have never seen anyone here have that issue.
Maybe it was a rock while driving?

Levelers can cause them to push forward, can you tell if the windshield has moved at all, if you have body paint there would be a telltale edge where you can see the rubber pushed away from the paint

I watched a guy leveling his DP which was tilted to one side just a little and as it leaned the other way that monster windshield cracked in two directions. He wasn't that far off level to start with.

So what is the trick to avoid breaking your windshield when levelling. I assume it not just good luck.

the trick is not to twist the motorhome, take the gear down til they touch the ground and then raise them in increments so that you don't cause abnormal flex
