Aquaman, would it be possible to post a few more pics of your mod to the tv in the master bedroom? I want to do something similar and am curious to see your swing mount setup for the door portion (what you used and how it's attached). Seems like such a large wasted space behind there. Thanks

I simply used a piano hinge on the existing panel that I cut down to fit the opening. As for the inside I framed the bottom in with 1x2 and used 1/2" plywood to line the inside. Click image for larger version
