digital channel tuning?

WE have a 2010 Georgetown 350 with a Toshiba TV. Does any one know how to tune the digital channels on cable hookup? I seem to only get analog when auto tuning? The TV manual states I can get digital??

I thought all of the channels are now digital. My Toshiba TV says it is scanning analog and digital but I just assumed everything it was picking up was digital.
There is a different selection on the TV for scanning channels from the antenna or cable however.

A lot depends on the cable system. Most basic cable is legacy analogue equipment. The premium channels are digital in many cases. Where i live there is no analogue cable any longer and you are forced to rent a digital terminal for TV. The only analogue channel is the aquarium channel.

I went satellite 20 years ago and have not looked back either at home on on the road.

OTA TV is for the most part Digital but there are some LPTV installations still analogue, religious or local mom and pop operations.

As mentioned- make sure your TV is set to cable not air/antenna and many
camp grounds have analog cable so that could be the reason. Do you get
digital when you use your antenna? Most/all broadcast TV is now digital.

Our last trip the CG had analog cable but we could get all major networks
with our antenna so we opted not to use the crummy cable signal.

When I scan at a CG it says analog and digital. I do get standard definition and high definition channels on most systems. You will see a difference in quality but it covers more channels choices at the campgrounds.

I think the problem we have is like KYdan states... the cable in some of the campgrounds. I can get digital stations sometimes and also over the air channels (when I can pick them up)we upgraded to a new tv in the bedroom and that seems to pick up the digital channels when the older Toshiba doesn't??
