For the first time today in almost 2 years of owning our Georgetown and having removed the steps to work on the batteries I noticed that under the steps there was a wiring diagram stuck to them for the battery disconnect system. Seems really dumb that they stuck it there instead of placing it inside the rig somewhere where the elements wouldn't ruin it. However it is nice to have at least one diagram of things.

Gotcha beat on this one. I'm working on 4 years and just found it.
Funny you posted this. I just found the same diagram under the steps as well. I've had the steps out probably a dozen times with checking batteries and other things. I always placed the steps on the ground just the way they come out. This past time I actually turned them over and found the diagram. The remaining adhesive, which was about 3/4", peeled off without tearing it to shreds. The diagram leaves alot to be desired but is kinda legible.
Let's see, paper wiring diagram facing the ground where moisture and spray from travel will get it nice and wet. It's not covered with anything water resistant like a plastic holder. Print is almost faded away due to exposure to the elements.

Am I nuts or wouldn't something like this belong in an Owner's Manual??????

I don't want to brag but it took me only 10 months. When we first bought our 32 ft Georgetown last summer I took a digital photo of the battery set up and printed it off my computer and kept a copy in the motorhome. I'm always paranoid about frying myself, setting the motorhome ablaze or toasting all the electronics in the rig.
