I use the Coleman RoadTrip LXE . It's excellent if you cook a lot of meat. I also have the flat grill to go with it ,this collects the grease when you cook bacon...hummmm bacon, eggs, hot coffee newspaper, and a campground, what else does one need.

I use a volcano grill you can use wood, charcole or propane. You can run it off of a small green propane bottle or a normal gas grill tank. The cover also acts as a smoker and it folds up along with the grill for easy storage. It is built like a tank and is much sturdier then most back yard grills.

We travel with the one that came with the trailer. Used the one with the 08 Flagstaff for 4 yrs. Even added a piezo starter to it. Now we use the one that came with the 12 Flagstaff that came with a piezo starter. Just had to add a 1 x 1 alum tube to it to protect where the wire came out of the bottom. Bad design on whomever designed that one. We like the grills, they are small, but for just the two of us, they are plenty large enough and we haven't had any problems with using them on the side of the trailer with the awning out.

Weber Q 120 and a Weber Smokey Joe charcoal grill. The Weber is large enough to cook 2 beer can chickens at once. Great little barby's...my Weber gas grill is 6 years old and cooks like new.

I've used a Weber Baby Q 200 for about 7 years. Would highly recommend. I bought the travel bag and it still looks like new. Weber Customer Service is top notch.

I have an Olympian with a smoker plate that does a pretty good job...for a gas grill, at any rate.

Camp chef 3 burner - we have a 2 burner griddle and a2 burner grill box. These are amazing. The heat adjusts from tiny to blast furnace roar. The third burner is great for side dishes, heating water etc. It is nice to be able to place the cooking area where you want it (unlike an outdoor kitchen). We bring along a couple of 5 gallon propane tanks.

THe one attached to the bumper of my TT, it swings out and so far has worked just fine, unless it is windy out! I need to cut off the second tier grate, take up too much room!

Love the wood smoke flavor . . .
We use a small Traeger Junior (grill/smoker) that I removed the legs from. It fits in the back of my truck with the hard cover down. You can get mesquite, hickory, apple, cherry, pecan, (etc.) wood pellets. We always smoke our meat, veggies, pizza, etc. first and then finish it off at a higher temp. The flavor of wood smoke can't be beat, in our opinion. We used our larger Traeger for a season, then decided we had to have a small one to take camping.

Well I decided on a Weber Baby Q120 from Amazon.com
I actually received it today and was easy to put together.
I was impressed with the burner quality as well as the metal grate.
I also was surprise to have the temp guage and the electric igniter (AAA battery) Nice coler and the two foldout shelves will come in handy.
Probably will start out with the small 16 oz bottles then maybe move up to a larger propane tank and long hose.

Too funny Iggy, you and I seem to be running down parallel tracks with learning about and modding our RVs, just bought that bbq 2 weeks ago, love that it gets so hot so fast.

Iggy, love that Fiat and it is Italian red!! Have been a Fiat fan for 40 or so years and still have a couple of oldies. I really want the new Abarth 500....
We have a Coleman LX Road Trip grill. It's the fancier version of the LXE. Looks pretty sexy, lol. Got it from CW for $160 something after a discount when it was on sale. We like the interchangeable grill tops. There's one large flat surface one, one for pots and another grate/grilling type for steaks.
We can do 8 pancakes at once which is nice. Can't close the lid with the large grill in place which is a kinda weird design. And when using the grilling grate, you have to use a pan to hold water under the grill (comes with it) but you end up with a pan full of water and grease which you need to dispose of. Not easy in a campground. Heats the grates evenly which is good.
When we went to use it the first time, the ignitor would not start on one side. Fortunately we were near a Camping World store and were able to get it exchanged for a complete new unit. The guy we dealt with said the Colemans are crap and recommended we change over to a Weber but we liked the Coleman setup. Nice to find out that those in the know and where we bought it think it's crap.
One odd design feature is that when it is all collapsed and ready for storage, the bottom does not lay flat and rocks. There is a piece in the centre of the bottom about 1" lower. We use a chunk of foam at each end to keep it secure.
This thing is not small, but it does fit okay in our storage compartment. It sits on top of our portable folding table and it is held in place with a couple of bungy cords. Since these things are aimed at RVers, I'm not sure why they don't think of how people are going to store them and tie them down.

Weber Q 220 here. Picked it up midway through last season and with the addition of a couple grilling plates we carry if fits all of our needs. Fits the back hatch of our trailer almost perfectly. I say almost because I need to tilt it slightly to get through the hatch.
We have a 8lb tank with 6' hose that work great with the Weber.

I just got a Traeger portable grill. It fits perfectly in the basement cargo bay, I get all the different flavored pellets and the great taste of the Traeger. Only have to sit it up on the table, plug it in, and grill.

Small compants? If it works well, why leave it home?
