Do you travel with a BBQ? Which one
I'm considering buying a small BBQ for the 2 of us.
I just wanted to hear what you think may be a good one and do you use charcoal or propane?
Pictures and brand would be nice.
Thanks

We use the Camp Chef two-burner propane stove with the Camp Chef BBQ grill that fits over one the burners. The camp stove breaks down and fits into it's own bag and the same with the BBQ.

Weber for me also.
I had a number of the cheap gas grills and then got this one.
I should have done long ago.
I have a rolled up sleeping bag that I sandwich between the grill and the compartment door.
That holds it real well.

We've been using a Coleman Road Trip propane bbq for the past 2 years. I'm looking forward to replacing it with something like the Weber. Okay for grilling once you get the hang of it, but gets mighty dirty. None of the grease burns off.

We use the Coleman Roadtrip. 3+ years and working well. Has an integrated stand and everything folds and fits easily in a storage compartment. Relatively easy to clean. Have a friend with the Weber and that is a nice grill as well.

We have used for years a little sunbeam propane bbq works great but for Christmas last year my DW bought a SS BBQ just like the one in the picture at Sam's Club for about $80 and a folding plastic table that had a space "designed" for that BBQ off the side. Well it doesn't fit, but rather than hurt my DW feelings I modified it and made it work.
But to be honest although the sunbeam was/is a little small for cooking an entire meal for 4 on, but it fits 6-8 patties and was very even cooking and stored SOOO much better. Also we pretty much only cook outside when we camp (we only turn the cook top on to get propane quickly to the fridge when we start up and maybe boil water) the SS discolors quickly so the newness wears off quick.
I'll continue to use the SS one until it breaks. then I'll dig the other one out of mothballs. You know what they say "happy wife happy life".

I found it for $179 on Amazon.com with free shipping and no tax. May buy it.

+1... This was a great deal at Sams Club. We love it and it works great. Stainless Steel interior and cooking grates too. It's very well made and stow's away easily

A fifty dollar Weber. It is still going strong after about 8 seasons. I keep looking at others, but the size and price cannot be beat by anyone.

Weber Q 120. Best small grill I have ever owned and I have been through a bunch of them over the years. Well built and cooks great. I bought the optional stand wheel kit for it. Makes it really handy to move around and it folds for storage.

+2. I see no need to purchase/use another one until this one dies. Works great.

I use a Weber Q 200 my Dad gave me. Had it 4 years and it is going strong. I see weber makes a griddle to fit the Weber Q's now, been thinking of picking up one of those for cooking breakfast. We have a family fishing trip each summer with about 20 people. I set up the weber, and two camp stoves hooked in to a 20 lb propane tank, in a screen tent, where we all share the cooking duties.

I just don't care much for gas grills. I know they are easier to use (and I've tried most of them) but I just prefer charcoal for cooking. Lump charcoal, at that. My last trailer came with a gas grill that quick connects but it's still in the box. I specifically told them to delete the gas grill on the trailer I just ordered. I'm the cook in our family and I just prefer the flavor of charcoal. When we make a short trip of 2-3 days I carry a Weber Li'l Smokie. For longer trips I carry an Aussie folding grill in the truck. When I'm going with the church group for our 3-4 times yearly week or better long trips I carry the Aussie and also a Cookshack electric smoker. It cooks superb smoked ribs and brisket. Set it and forget it!
