Does anyone use a propane campfire or heater?

I'm a full-timer in Southern California. It's nice but I do get tired of the chilly nights when I want to sit out and eat dinner or just hang outside after dinner. I'm considering getting a propane campfire or patio heater. Any recommendations? I want something portable and something that will put some heat out.

I have a propane fire pit that I use whenever campfires are not allowed. We like it because it does give off enough heat for those cool evenings, and it also gives you the ambiance of a campfire. It runs about 16 hours on a 20lb bottle of propane. I can't recommend a brand name but they should all be about the same.
