Dometic refrigerator propane
Recently after my domestic fridge stopped working, I had it fixed by a pro. Now it works fine but the propane does not shut off. Seems like it might be a thermostat problem to me but I know nothing about refrigerators. Please help.

We corrected the spelling of 'Dometic' so that searches will find this thread.
What exactly do you mean by "the propane does not shut off"?

Thank you, the iPad decided it knew what I wanted to say.
When the fridge is running on propane, the propane does not shut off and on as it should when the fridge reaches the proper temperature but just keeps going indefinitely.

The propane is like a pilot light, when running on propane it is on all the time, at least ours is. Never had any problems on it holding temperature. Nature of the beast I guess.

According to the manual on mine
A.
A 12 volt DC supply must be available for the electronic
control to function. The refrigerator will work down to 9.6
volt DC.
B.
Press the main power ON/OFF button (1) to the
DOWN position.
B.
In AUTO mode operation, the temperature is controlled
by a single temperature setting, on the energy source
selected by the control system. (See Auto Mode)
C.
In MANUAL mode operation, the refrigerator will run
continuously on the energy source selected by the
control system. (See Manual Mode)
NOTE
: The food in the lower compartment may be frozen if
the refrigerator is left on MANUAL mode.

Thank you but my problem is that the propane never shuts off. Shouldn’t it cycle on and off as the temperature of the refrigerator goes up and down?

Ah.... the question the rest of us should have asked. The answer might help this problem (and some answers) make sense.
