Dometic Thermostat in Georgetown XL

Trying to troubleshoot couple problems on brand new motorhome xl378...can someone confirm if your green fan light stays on even when the system is not on. It's a dometic theromostat....the rear thermostat all lights are off.

Yes, there will be a green light on beside which ever selection you make if the system is on. Doesn't have to be putting out heat. I'm standing in front of my thermostat right now, temp set at 64. Not putting out heat, but on.

Press the ON/OFF button several times to illuminate the light at that position. The light then will extinguish after several seconds. Just sounds as though you have the fan selected and it is in AUTO (AU) mode. With FAN selected must select either HI or LO for fan to run.

My green light stays on the entire time the system is "on". Guess it just depends on how it's wired.

"At that position" refers to the light at the ON/OFF position when OFF. Of course the light at what is selected to ON will remain illuminated.
