Double front sun screens

I have a 2012 378TS with the single beige front screen that you can not see thru.

I was wondering if any Georgetown owners have converted to the two shade version. One being more of a see thru sunscreen that you can see out but not in as well as the total blackout shade.

I have seen them but wondered if FR has installed these or if anyone who has done this mod give us some particulars on this MOD.

Thanks

Mine came with both screens so I am sure you can buy them. I have them on all my windows except the two floor length windows in the hall. It just has a Curtian. Not sure why they didn't put them on those windows.

Now you are talking about the motorized front windshield screens?
If so that is what I'm looking for.
What color is each and how do you like them?

Hi Iggy . I bought the sun guard inside window covers. When we park, I get them on in mere minutes. They let you see out but not in. At night I put down roller shade. I think the website is:www.rvtoystore.com. The brand is called Sunguard. Much cheaper and easy to take on and off. Good luck

I just checked the site. Do you have a 2 pieces or 1 large piece.
All I can find is the 2 piece interior ones. 50" x 54"
How does it attach to window?

Site says they attach via suction cups. Might check out RV Quick Shades. They have single (108" wide x 46" long or 120" wide x 58" long) panel kits and also two panel kits. They also are held in place via suction cups. I have the Quick Shade, in black (also comes in beige). I ordered larger suction cups off ebay for my shade; the supplied ones were just to small for my liking. Both shades are see through from inside but not from outside during daytime. The front roller shade has to be lowered for night time privacy. I know your original question is about the MCD dual shades and all I know about them is, they are really expensive but can be installed by anyone including whatever switches might be needed. One other thing; because the suction cup types are mounted on the windshield they also aid in preventing sun damage to the dash. Maybe not a big deal.

Yes, my windshield screens are both motorized. The screen is black mesh and the solid is tan. I love them. They will only come down part way if the engine is running or all the way if stopped. There are two separate swirptches for them on the dash. The screen one will give you some privacy and still keep the bright sun or lights out. The tan one blocks out everything. My other windows are the same except they are manual instead of electric.

They attach with sewn in suction cups across the top. I have the two piece interior shades . I also have them for the side windows . If you order they will be oversized and you can trim them to custom fit your Windows . I labeled mine "D" and "P" so I know which one goes on either drivers side and passenger side .

We have the RV quickshade 1 piece wide version, it attaches with suction cups. I can put it up in about 3 minutes by myself after the first time when you have to lay out the suction cups. They attach permanently.
We also go the side version for the front driver and passenger side windows. We had to cut them off to the correct length, but they work awesome too. One of my favorite mods.
