draining fresh tank problems

I am sanitizing the fresh water tank and draining by opening the low point drain plug but, even with a couple faucets open, it only trickles out unless I turn on the pump. Anyone have an idea?

Are you opening the low point drain for the whole system? You need to open the drain that is directly attached to the fresh water tank.

yes, where it says low point drain. And after fooling with it, there are 3 outlets, 2 pvc and a black hose with screen on end. After opening both of the pvc, it drained better. thnx.

The fresh water drain on our Flagstaff is on the side of the tank toward the front of the trailer.

I see you are from southern Ontario and have a gold wing. I am orig from Niagara Falls, Ny and had an 06 gold wing, but alas, I had to bid a fond farewell.
