Thanks Copsuno and Debby for the help. My back was out so it took a while before I could get down to fix the problem. The Screws were flat so that was not the problem. The problem turned out to be the stress on the plastic sockets broke the sockets. The sockets are 2 3/8" deep and Forest River used a short 20" slide that only seated 7/8" into the end of the socket. This left 1 1/2" not supporting the slide.
I bought 22" Liberty slides (same as in my Georgetown Motorhome) from Home Depot. I had to cut about 1/2" off the end with a hacksaw and then the slides seated all the way in the sockets giving much better support. I already had problems with 2 drawers so I just went ahead and replaced the 6 large drawers in my unit so I could put heavier items in them if I wanted. Very simple solution. Thanks for the help and suggestions.
