Drink/Remote Holder

I needed a place to sit my drink and remotes when parked and captains chair turned for TV viewing. Basically needed a shelf. I came up with this idea and built it to the size I wanted for the space. It works great!

Looks better than just a shelf!

Start with chair in farthest back position and steering wheel tilted up. Lower left arm rest and start to turn chair around. When left arm is about to hit steering wheel tilt back of chair down so arm will clear under. Complete the spin and then slide chair all the way to its most forward position. Tilt up back. My chair will sit up right and will recline some till it hits wheel. A relaxed slouch if you will. Not reclined enough to nap but great for TV. I have a small roll around storage ottoman for feet prop.

Great idea!

I still can't get our driver's chair to turn around, no matter what I try, so I've given up for now.
