You have a leak you should not have. Antifreeze is slippery between your fingers. You likely need a new hose or a new core. Not worth risking overheating your engine. Hopefully it's just a hose or loose clamp. You should be able to get a flashlight just after you've run the engine up to temperature (so there is pressure in the hose) and dab dry with a rag while looking for the source.
If so remove it and replace it with one like this.
Top off the antifreeze and check for leaks.

thanks. two hoses attached to side of heater with the leak coming from the upper. Not sure if it's coming out of the hose connection or from inside the covering of the core. Will take it in for sure.
Odds are if it is leaking from the top it is the clamp as a bad core would leak from the bottom before filling the housing full enough to leak from the top.
