Dusty Speedo

there has been saw dust in behind the lens on the speedo and dials. someday i want to take it apart and get it out.

ever tried this?

i can just imagine how fast they are ripping through the coaches building them to get that much saw dust in the instrument panel...

thanks!

Are you talking between the plastic lens and the actual face of the speedometer? I thought that was a sealed assembly.

I have removed the whole face by the 4 screws but I'm not sure if that would help you....
Good luck

yes the actual face of the spedo and needle.

im assuming it is not sealed because the same sawdust was all over the outside and inside of the lens when i bought it.

Remove the plexiglass cover and blow it or suck it out. Instrument clusters are usually sealed, but who knows what happened to yours.
