DVD player

We have new Georgetown with the Clarion B-Up camera, radio, DVD combo. But when parked with emergency brake on and trying to play a DVD, I can't get rid of the error code "Can't show picture because the emergency brake is not depressed". - but it is. Any help ??? Thanks

Yes it does, I turned the key on to make sure of that, even released and re-mashed the e-brake to make sure. Thanks

If its never worked then I'd have to assume that the lead wire from e-brake to dvd was never hooked up.

Sent from my SCH-R530U using Forest River Forums mobile app

DVD player

Mine does the same thing
I hold the e brake release lever and depress the e brake four or five times then it works
But then later it might do the same thing
Have not been able to fix it
Just a small hassle now that I install a Sony DVD blue ray/am/fm entertainment system under the tv
I don't use the DVD that came on the motorhome
Didn't like the sound

The Grass-Green wire should be hooked up to your parking brake switch. When you set your parking brake, the light on the dash should illuminate. If it's not, then your switch is not adjusted or is not working. A lot of people bypass it so you can have all options while on the road by connecting that wire to ground.

Actually, on your unit you cannot use the ground as a bypass. You need one of these: MicroBypass.com The Best Automatic Video In Motion Brake Bypass On The Web! - Clarion MicroBypass (Powered by CubeCart)

Or, get the dealer to fix it.
