Effective Way to seal compartment doors?

On of the compartments where the inverter is located is not well sealed, and water gets in, and the RV almost cut fire once. I am trying to find out the best way to seal it.

There is a seal, but obviously is not working well and I have to find a better solutions.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Tony

I thought you needed air around the invertor to keep it from over heating and burning up.

I made a small round hole on the site of the compartment to help air circulate, and I will probably put a small fan. But as for the seals around the compartment door, I need to make sure water (from water sprinklers or any water directed at the RV) won't penetrate it.

If you are having problems with the door seals they are adjustable to make a tighter seal.
You should not have any water issues.

We thought we had a seal leak as water got in and fried our inverter. Turned out to be black tank sprayer nozzle was leaking directly above water heater and inverter every time I used it.
