Electric Fireplace

I have a Georgetown XL 377. Electric fireplace is model #NS-EF06-28. Paper work I have doesn't indicate who manufactured this item, just gives operating instructions. Somehow the fireplace switched from using degrees F to degrees C. Book says to "hold down heater button 10s, will have conversion between degrees C & degrees F". I have not a clue what to do with that statement after looking at fireplace manual controls and the remote. Anyone that can help please do for this old geezer that is clueless.

Can't help your conversion of the fireplace numbers of F versus C but...
0 Celsius is approximately 30 F
10 Celsius is approximately 50 F
20 Celsius is approximately 70F
30 Celsius is approximately 90F

If you're cold crank it up...if you're warm crank it down.

Hope that helps.

Just a thought, hold down the heat button for 10 seconds and see if it reverts back to degrees in F.
