Sounds like either the engine thermostat or a door n the hvac unit isn’t operating as it should. Is the engine getting up to the 190* range? Some have a hot water valve, be sure it’s open. If it’s an older unit, the heater core may be covered with debris preventing heat transfer. Check both heater hoses to be sure they’re hot, core could be stopped up internally.
Hope some of this helps.

I have a 2014 Georgetown 351DS. I have the same issue with the heater. I’m wondering if part of it is a perception issue. The sucker puts out much more air volume than a car. Could it be that the large volume of air makes it feel cooler at a distance from the vent?
Put a thermometer in the duct it should put out 130 or so degree air with operating temp engine. Does the engine reach normal operating temp? If so and it doesn’t there may be an issue. Make sure it’s on max or recirculate not blend air. Pic of control might help if you aren’t sure. DW’s car is touch screen and knobs and is confusing. I swear she doesn’t know how to operate it(if I want her to know I said that I will tell her).
