My dvd player has broken. When I turn it on, I see light around the knob to the far right. But nothing else on it works. I'm not sure if it's worth taking it to a repair facility or not. It may cost more to fix it than to replace it.
Any thoughts on this? My next questions might be where do you take it to fix it or replace it? Anyone else have this problem?
You must be talking about the mystery manufacturer of the DVD Home Threatre System in the Georgetowns. I rate them right up there with the Concertones everyone else has had problems with. We went through 3 of them before getting the one we have to completely function. If it's not under warranty I'd recommend just replacing it. Someone posted before about buying a Phillips DVD Home Threatre System through WalMart for under $200. It will connect to the existing speaker wires and sub-woofer as well.
