F53 Avg Fuel Economy Display

Was looking at the brochure on 2011 F53 chassis at this link:

https://www.fleet.ford.com/showroom/...2011_LoRes.pdf

It states the following on console:

Instrument Cluster With Added Information

The instrument cluster for the 2011 Ford Class A
Motorhome Chassis has been redesigned to provide
drivers with added vehicle operating information.
In addition to traditional vehicle indicators such as
RPM and MPH, drivers can now monitor DistanceTo-Empty (DTE), average fuel economy, outside
temperature, and system check (including brake
fluid and fuel levels, engine and transmission
temperatures, and oil pressure).

It states that the 2011 chassis's console will display "average fuel economy". Can anyone explain to this dummy how to do it? I can't seem to figure it out, nor find it in the manual.

This came up maybe 6 months ago and most agreed it was a mistake in the brochure. Same chassis same display not mileage in mine either. Wished it did, then again glad it doesn't.

I was surprised to see that it is supposed to show brake fluid levels. Is everyone else getting brake fluid level readings?

On my '06 Chev truck and '08 Taurus, they show what the vehicle's average mileage is from the last time it was reset.

I can go 2,000 before filling up.

Have a great weekend everyone.

I just take the miles to empty and divide it by the gallons in the tank. When I fill up it has 80 gallons, so if it says I have 500 miles to empty I just divide 500 by 80 and see I'm getting just over 6 MPG. When I'm traveling and get to 3/4 tank I divide by 60, 1/2 tank I divide by 40, etc. I tow and I go "fast" (the speed limit) so I don't get great mileage!! I'm jealous of Iggy!!
