Fireplace is set on Celsius.

Does anyone know how to change the fireplace from Celsius to Fahrenheit?

It used to read Fahrenheit, but got it switched somehow. We can't find a make or model anywhere to try to look it up.

Only down to -40 degrees. Then it keeps you colder!

(-40F = -40C)

Don't have your system but a lot of changes are made when one of the buttons is held down for a few seconds and that includes the on/off button.

24 degrees C will not keep you warmer than 75 degrees F.

Check if there is a toggle switch in the battery compartment, I have one there on a different model...Or move to Canada... I also have another one that you remove the battery and hit the on button then it switches back and forth.

Not at all, Celsius is one of the newer cars from GM that uses the same battery as a Galaxy note 7, drive it to fast and it melts down...

Back to the OP's original question.

To change from Celsius to Fahrenheit you have to multiply Celsius by 1.8 and add 32, VIOLA!

CynB hasn't been back since he started this thread.

Does anyone here know who the manufacturer of this fire place is?

At least we can then try and figure it out.

No manual came with it? If not, try opening the cover for replacing the battery on the remote and see if there's a brand name inside.

Contact the service center for the brand of your RV and ask them what the brand is. It will help to give them the last 7 digits of your VIN. You can reach the appropriate division by going to Forest River RV Contact Us - Forest River, Inc..

Found the fireplace manual. Hold down the heater (middle) button for 10 seconds. Display will switch from F to C.
