In regards to when u dump black water, first u've got the clear fitting for the hose, 2nd as u dump, ROCK the trailer a bunch. This will clean the paper off of the sensors, and maybe knock a turd off the walls. I always use a wand to flush the tank thru the toilet.
Nasty job, but ya gots to doit!!!

First to ddrain black works best if the tank is full of liquid. I seems a lot of work on the pump, but for sure if we are on hookup water, we fill it before we go to the dump station. That helps a lot. Our rig is a bit basic and there is no tank wash connection and no bathroom window to pass the hose through. I do not like dragging a hose in the door so --- I find it much neater and cleaner to rinse the black water tank through the drain hose. Just lift the sewer hose above the tank level and grab the usually nearby water hose and fill. I just hold the sewer hose in one hand and the water hose with other, no gadgets needed. Remember that a garden hose running with reasonable force can put out up to 10 gallons a minute so for our 30 gal black I run the hose about three minutes. Wait a minute or two and then drain. I repeat two times or more, until the waste runs clear.
