Flat Screen TV's in the 360

Can anyone tell me if the TV's that come in the Georgetown's are both 12 volt and 120 volt operable or are any different from the TV sets you buy for your home ie voltage and able to take the road bumps & shakes? My Forest River Fun Hauler's ran on both 12 V in the living area and 120 V in the bedroom!

Thanks in advance

All my TV's are 120v only. 45k miles so far and no failures of any of the TV's on board though, knock on wood. My unit has two flat screens and one tube TV.

All TV’s are 120v in our 2012 360.

There is a 12v outlet by the front TV that would be easy to install a 12v inverter in, to run that TV.

The Jensen 19" TV that came with my 2011 378TS in the bedroom was 12V capable but not wired for twelve volt. It was also constructed for RV use, whatever that means. I have replaced it though with a 26" TV.

Did you replace it with a regular over the counter store bought TV or did you buy a special RV TV meant to take road bumps etc from RV use ??? I guess that is my real Question! Can you use a house TV in an RV ???

That Jensen 19" TV is the only one I know of that is made for use in a boat or RV. We bought over the counter TV's and have had no problems with them. But, you know they are both bolted down and the ride in the motorhome isn't really that bad. I know its a better ride that the TV's got in our fifthwheel. So, I say sure you can use a house TV in an RV. I know that the 32" Toshiba that came in the entertainment center is just a plain old house TV. I've seen the exact same model at Bestbuy. I would stay away from the plasma's though, I've heard they are more touchy.

Don't quote me as gospel on this...........but I believe the factory equipped 19" Jensen is one of the few TV's that can run on 12 volt DC or on 120 volt AC. Once you get much larger than 19", you must be AC powered only.

If you were into boondocking a fair bit, I'd stay with 19" so you can have a TV for viewing if needed while running off your house batteries.
