Flat Tow 2020 Jeep Gladiator
Has any one flat towed a 2020 Jeep Gladiator yet. The specs bring it in at 4650 lbs and the Georgetown 35R5 says it has a 5000 lb tow rating. Close but doable if nothing else put in toad. Any thoughts?

it really more depends on what your COACH weighs, since subtracting that weight from your RV's GVCR is really what determines 'how much' you can tow...
and your coach should be weighed when it is fully loaded - water, fuel, people, travel clothes and stuff, food.... everything that you will be 'taking' on your trips while towing the Gladiator...
Your HITCH's weight rating is only IT'S weight maximum, NOT your coaches, which could actually be much LESS!

It all depends on how the MH is configured. My MH has a 4200lb CCC. Of that I am using roughly 2200lbs. that leaves me with around 6000lb tow rating. However I am limited to my 5k lb rated hitch. I may change the hitch out to a higher rated one just for the safety cushion of towing my 2013 Ford Explorer LTD that I haven't weighed yet, but I'm sure I am very close to the 5k lb tow rating. I know how much is in my MH because my trailer was 2200lbs more an it's dry weight. But I ditched a bunch of stuff I didn't use and replaced it with more stuff I will probably never use. LOL hopefully next year I can get it run across the scales!

Maybe yes, maybe no. The picture is from Ford's F53 chassis specifications manual. It shows my 22,000 lb chassis can only tow a maximum of 4,000 lbs even though it has a 5,000 lb hitch. The difference between the GCWR of 26,000 and the GVWR of 22,000 is the 4,000 lbs. Per that doc, even if I have spare room on my GVWR I cannot use it to increase my towing capacity.

Flat Tow 2020 Jeep Gladiator
Maybe this may help. A friend of mine just purchased a 2020 gladiator and flat towing. He has a 2008 34’ Hurricane gasser v10. Was previously flat towing a Grand Cherokee 4wd without any problems.

Sure you can. It's giving you the "maximum" tow at "maximum" GVW. The GCWR is 26k, so if you come in at 20k GVW, you'll have 6k of towing capacity, but will be limited to 5k of the hitch.

OK, thanks. That matches what I've read other places but the Ford docs I had read did not indicate that specifically.
I agree on the weighing. I ran ours over a CAT scale for $12 while fully loaded with everyone and everything for a trip. The car and dolly came in at 4,040 lbs and the whole thing was hundreds of pounds below GCWR. For the weighing I had full water and full fuel in the car but I usually only carry 1/3rd of a tank and less than full fuel so that gives me even more margin.

You have the Ford ratings. Now look at the Coach ratings. On my 2012 the coaches GVWR sticker is 1k lbs less than the Ford GVWR. This is how they are getting the 5k lb tow capacity. My 350TS has a 4K lb CCC. Of that I only use approx 2k lbs (as per the scale weights of my old trailer). So adding up the numbers TNT gives me a max of 6500lbs to tow, if I had a stronger hitch (which I m looking into for the extra strength alone). Once you get your loaded for travel weights then you can figure out what weight you can tow. And remember flat towing only adds around 20lbs of tongue weight.
