floor, walls and ceiling

Hi There...Has anyone had a problem with the floor squeaking, the wall coverings coming away from the wall, and the ceiling bowing??? We traded in our Newmar and bought a 2011 Georgetown and we have these problems. Are we alone or does anyone else have problems like this?

see my posting regarding the ceiling. You'll need do do a search for:
"Sagging ceiling headliners" on this forum.

See if it helps.

What model is your Georgetown, and when did you purchase your unit?

I have a 2009 Georgetown 374. Just lately the floor has started squeaking in the bedroom right by the bathroom door. Hope this is not a sign of things to come.

I have a 2008 Georgetown 374. Floor does squeak up front in living area, and had to get one wall repaired that was coming apart where the thermostat and command console is located.

I have a 2008 Georgetown 338SE. The floor near the slideout and the kitchen area squeaks. It seems the underlayment flexes as though it wasn't fastened down properly. I tried using a special screw that you snap off after you run it into the floorboard; but it didn't help. Just living with the problem hoping it doesn't get worse.

For your floor I have seen cushion flooring shrinking in the cold weather. A while ago In one of our highrise building when it was new all the empty units that were not sold and the temperature was kept at 50* got damaged. Many floors were short by aprx one quarter inch at the baseboard. All the other units occupied were not affected. I read the the beaufloor cushion floor is not affected by the cold. Not sure if my new 2011 rockwood has the beaufloor. It has the wood look vinyl flooring and the tuscan interieur.

08 340 TS .. main slide. (couch & dinnette)
Viewing the slide, looking at the couch, just behind the drivers seat ... floor and that wall came apart....busted loose all the way.
Tech. stated he spent 3-4 hours ... drilled for three large wood screws and refastened floor & wall. Covered with strip.
We paid out of pocket 420 bucks.
We had troubles with this slide since new. (( Even the ram, has been replaced)
Good luck.

Mac

No, our coach is rock solid. We've been living in it since Sept. and love it.
