Fold out love seat to bed

Cannot fold the love seat to a bed because of electrical box behind the back of the sofa that folds down keeps on Jamming up against the box no matter what I do I cannot keep the box from jamming on the back of the sofa part that folds down tried to move the box in different areas but nothing worksClick image for larger version

It looks like the previous owner did not intend to use the sofa as a bed. What are all those loose wires running to??? Good Grief!!!

Maybe solar panel wiring? Have you tried following the wires to locate what they are all connected too?
