Ford V10 Alternator

What is the output (amps) rating for the standard attached supplied alternator on the Ford V10 engine? Is it dependent on model of Georgetown or all they all the same - If model, I have a 270S.

The physical alternator off a MH is the same as those in the truck models, So...to be safe take it off, go down to your local parts store and ask for the highest amp alternator they have for the V10 and you are good to go. Yes compare the old and new. We did this a few years back with a good outcome. A good parts store will have the higher output alternators.

Looking online, I come up with 130 standard and all kinds (150, 200, 220, ...) that may or may not fit. Their OD runs from 6 to 9 inches. No apparent understanding by vendors of what OEM / OEM replacement means.
