Forest River Inc NEW Website

I just received an email from Forest River that they have updated their website.
One of the new parts is the interactive Manual section which has a lot of information on how things should work. In the past they had nothing so this is some improvement.
Here is a link to the main page and you need to select Forest River RVs and select the help category you may want to read about.
Here is the link
Forest River Interactive Manuals

I think you find the reading worthwhile.

Here is how the Gas Motorhome section looks like.

Wow, some good information in there. I didn't know they recommended putting something (paper or tin foil) just inside the window to protect the blinds from sun damage, for instance, when in storage.

I checked the link and was able to get manuals for Coachman, Dynamax, et. al. but no Georgetown. Am I missing a link somewhere?

Pretty useless info. In my opinion.

Perhaps it'll be a starting point and they'll work backwards to maybe at least when Forest River bought some of their various name plates such as Georgetown. Fingers crossed they do!

They really need to put more pertinent information on the site. Like cold weather traveling information, etc ... I am leaving Michigan next week for Florida, and would like to put 10 or so gallons in the tank for toilet and washing up etc until I get to a warmer climate. I will probably just carry some jugs to be safe. The user manual says don't use the arctic pack pads without water in them. Yet on this forum people say it is not an issue. What about using the arctic pack with just fresh water? But the new site is a start.

Iggy - first off THANK YOU THANK YOU.

Second, definitely a step in the right direction. Good for Forest River. Now need to expand the years. But it is definitely way better than the hit and miss stuff.

Again Iggy - thanks.

Agreed, BigBen, and thanks IGGY. It's not perfect but it's certainly progress and a step in the right direction.

In addition to being on the website, the information is available as a free app for both Apple and Android operating systems.
