Fresh tank filling up when city water connected

First, we want to thank all those who respond on this forum. You all have given us all kinds of useful information and saved our rear end on a number of occasions.

We have a 2012 Georgetown 378. We have had our fresh water tank fill up a number of times when we were simply connected to the City Water. We just emptied it on this last stay (turning off the City Water and using the pump to empty the tank). We turned back on the City Water and within the day, our fresh water tank showed full. So, I guess we are having an overflow into our fresh water tank, yes? Does this condition indicate a problem that we can fix or are we headed back to the Service Department at our local dealer?

X2- I found check valves cause serious pressure drop from the pump. Better to replace or repair the pump. Or do like you did and use the pump to lower the tank, but do not turn on the pump with shore pressure. Usually the suction valve will reset itself.
