Fridge Light

My bulb blew in the fridge when a water bottle fell against it. Replaced with a new bulb which is 12V 10W same as what originally was there but size is slightly fatter and a tad longer. Replacement bulb does not work. Bought another set from a auto parts store, it doesn't work either. I would find it difficult to believe that a fallen water bottle could loosen anything to not make the light work.

Hi Sherman, On our gtown 337, the fridge light has a short in it, have to fiddle with it to come on. The next time I open the door its out. Will fix it this winter. FYI.

Thanks Martin, where would you suggest looking for a short, behind the light itself and is it removable?

We had the same frig light on /off problem in our 2011 g'town 360DS. Putting in a new bulb didn't help. Went back to dealer/service. They had to pull the frig out to get to the problem to fix it.

I hope the short is by the light socket, and the light looks like it should come out, but you never know.

Have you checked to see if you have voltage at the socket with a volt meter?
Have you checked the switch in the door is not stuck in the door closed position?
Check the fuse in the back of the unit near the control board.
That's the best I can suggest at the moment.
Good luck
